Budo Warrior School Torquay, trains in Bujinkan Ninjutsu, or Budo Taijutsu.

The Bujinkan, or "Divine Warrior House" is the Martial Art system bought to life by Dr Masaaki Hatsumi the current soke of 9 authentic Japanese Ryu. "Martial School". Within these schools, we get a complete self protection system, that is as effective now, as it was all those years ago on the battlefields of Japan.

Soke Hatsumi has spent his life both studying and teaching the arts passed down to him from his teacher, Toshitsugu Takamatsu. Hatsumi has travelled the world to pass on his knowledge so that we all can get to no the true art, and the very essence of Ninjutsu.

From this, the Bujinkan was born!

Here at our dojo, we only study and instruct in the Bujinkan system. These are the 9 schools the Bujinkan is based:-

As a Bujinkan dojo, we hold informal training sessions, that are both fun and friendly. We welcome all new students, whether you have previous Martial Art experience, of just want to get out of the house and try something new. As well as learning Taijutsu "unarmed combat," you will also learn weapon skills, rolling and breakfall skills and body conditioning.

In 2006 we made the decision to be a part of the ever-growing Budo Warrior Schools Bujinkan dojo. Headed by the experienced 12th Dan Shihan Marc Moor.  Marc has given the dojo all the support we have needed, and is always there to lend a hand, to instructors and students alike.

Budo Warrior School Torquay fully supports the Bujnkan and all that it stands for.  We have no interest in the politics involved with the Bujinkan, Ninjutsu or Martial Arts as a whole. Every Martial Artist, what ever your style Ninjutsu or not, is considered a valued martial friend. EVERYONE is welcome!
