Budo Warrior School Torquay

Currently our training sessions are instructed by Robert Rigg. 2nd Dan (Nidan) in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. Rob has been interested, and training in the Bujinkan for a number of years. An interest that started as a young lad, after seeing the 80's Ninja flicks. Climbing trees and getting dirty, hand springing and jumping, here there and everywhere. Back then he studied Karate, readily available at a local school.

Rob bumped in to a Ninjutsu school at the age of 15 where he trained for 2 years. The school disbanded and Rob tried many other arts for a short time, including Kickboxing, Boxing and Jeet Kune Do. He then again stumbled apon Bujinkan Ninjutsu at a hall around the corner when he was 19. This opened his eyes to a whole new world. He trained hard for nearly a year. But, as before, with a lack of students the school had to close its doors.

It wasn't until the summer of 2004 after travelling the states, Rob walked into a local Bujinkan class headed by an excellent instructor John Edgington. Rob was instantly hooked an has been training with real dedication, ever since! Rob has a real love for the Bujinkan art, and all the aspects of what we would call "Ninjutsu." He enjoys training with anyone who is willing to teach him, and really enjoys passing on his knowledge and seeing his students progress in the system.

Rob was awarded his 2nd Dan in 2007.

Marc Moor is the head instructor of the Budo Warrior Schools Group. He has been training in the Martial Arts for 40 odd years and is an excellent Bujinkan instructor. Marc has an outstanding dedication to the Bujinkan, he has spent alot of time studying, and instructing, making his school the success it is today. Marc travels at least once a year to the Honbu dojo in Japan to train with Soke Hatsumi and his Japanese Shihan. Something only a few instructors do on a regular basis.
